First, I must apologize, for I am wearing practically the same thing in every picture so far. Perhaps this will change. Perhaps not. Maybe at least I’ll start wearing mascara.
We are in Bruges and if you haven’t seen that movie, I suggest that you should. It’s pretty stellar.
Now, would you like to see the view from the room in our hotel?

Yep, it’s gorgeous. We have a huge window in our bedroom and also in the bathroom and I leave them wide open and the breeze comes in and it is just so LOVELY. I wonder what it takes to get a view like this in New York. I mean, my view of Prospect Park is pretty nice, but…

So I like it here. Would you like to take a carriage ride with me?

Dinner on a Canal?

Or maybe chocolate penguins are more your thing?

Let me know, ’cause I’m down.

Ok i just looked at the dinner on a canal picture and I want to do THAT!
Gosh I had no idea how beautiful these other countries were and maybe I take back the comment I made one day about being content with never leaving the US. I want to see those sweet places! But i hate long flights….

Chocolate penguins were not for sale… they were really big and just on display! And I’m sure they would have melted/got smushed on the trek from there to here and the next stop. :)
And yeahhh I want dinner on a canal too! Tres romantique! :)

I love that the carriage driver has a dog in the front with him. That picture was done nicely, kudos.

OMG chocolate penguins YUM! I am sorry I am behind, but I will have to catch up when I go on vacation myself later this week. BTW… I love you picture captions! It’s like a little fortune cookie every time you hover the mouse over a picture. :-)
@michelle: If it’s flying you dislike, you can take a ship to Europe from NY if you please… but it takes a lot longer than flying!

How about, Steve and I get stationed overseas. I need to experience some culture. And you guys can all visit all the time. Or live in our house.
