Not only does my best friend have some major bowling skills to go with her bowling shoes, she also owns it at karaoke:
And yes, that is one of her backup singers/dancers.
Take a look at this bar that was inside of the bowling alley. They have karaoke every Friday and Saturday nights and I felt like I was in some movie staring Kate Bosworth (not sure why her exactly, perhaps cause she worked at a Piggly Wiggly for one of her roles?) in a small town with all the regulars, waiting for something big to happen. You should have seen all the characters that were in there. It was hilarious because, as in any time with karaoke, some people were just downright bad. For me, that’s the fun part, listening to other people make fools of themselves cause that’s exactly what I do when I get up there too.
Those are the facts, my friends. Tomorrow will be the last post from my visit to Detroit, and it’s going to be delicious. Stay tuned. :)
