It’s not every day you get to pretend that you’re hatching out of an egg. Or you’re turtle:

Prospect Park Zoo may be small, but it is good. Lots of birds and monkeys. We saw mommy and baby wallabies. And these guys:
Sea lions! We saw a feeding and they did tricks for us and there were barely any people there so you could see everything. They were so cute! All the zoo is missing is some penguins and they would be set.
Yeah, yeah, so no munchies on this City Mitten post, but don’t you worry because this weekend was packed. And HOT! I made the mistake of randomly walking across the Brooklyn Bridge after brunch one day and now I’m red, red, red. Stay tuned, because I assure you tomorrow will be delicious.
